Health Regimen during Monsoon Season
Metabolism is sluggish during Varsha Ritu (Monsoon/Rainy Season)

Ayurveda recommends:

Consumption of light and fresh food

Take a small piece of ginger with rock salt before every meal

Drink medicated or boiled water
-
Take sour and salted soup
-
Take “Haritaki” with rock salt
-
Foods having Amal (sour), Lavana (salty), and Snigdha (unctuous) qualities should be consumed
-
Avoid consumption of stale food
