Health Regimen during Monsoon Season

Metabolism is sluggish during Varsha Ritu (Monsoon/Rainy Season)

Ayurveda recommends:

  • Consumption of light and fresh food

  • Take a small piece of ginger with rock salt before every meal

  • Drink medicated or boiled water

  • Take sour and salted soup

  • Take “Haritaki” with rock salt

  • Foods having Amal (sour), Lavana (salty), and Snigdha (unctuous) qualities should be consumed

  • Avoid consumption of stale food
